The State Administration for Industry and Commerce ("SAIC") released on June 5 the Measures for the Implementation of the Administration of Enterprise Name Registration (Revised Draft for Comment) and Administrative Regulations on Business Scope Registration for Enterprises (Revised Draft for Comment) for public comment by June 19, 2014.

Among them, the Measures for the Implementation of the Administration of Enterprise Name Registration (Revised Draft for Comment) cancel the restrictive requirement that a legal person enterprise shall place the administrative division before the organization form and after the name of the enterprise, and delete the provision that an application for approval of an enterprise's name in advance shall specify the amount and proportion of capital contribution of each investor. The Administrative Regulations on Business Scope Registration for Enterprises (Revised Draft for Comment) cancel the classification of business scope as licensed items and general items, and provision concerning the registration of the time limit for business operations subject to prior licensing.
