On February 1, the First Membership Assembly and the Inauguration Meeting of the Xuhui District Law Society (Xuhui Branch of Shanghai Law Society) (hereinafter “Xuhui Law Society”) was held at Xuhui District People’s Court.

The meeting reported the preparation and founding progress of the Xuhui Law Society, and reviewed and approved the Articles of Association and the Election Rules for the First Council of the Xuhui Law Society, according to which the first Council Members were elected and announced.

Watson & Band Managing Partners Jean Yang and Frank Qian, Partner Xiaosu Zhu attended the Inauguration Meeting. Frank Qian was elected as a member of the First Council. Jean Yang and Xiaosu Zhu were first members of the Xuhui Law Society.
