On the afternoon of July 30th, former SIPO President and present Chairman of China Intellectual Property Society, Mr. Lipu Tian, visited Watson & Band. Watson & Band’s Senior Founding Partner, Mr. Shenmin Xu, together with two Managing Partners of Watson & Band Law Offices and General Manager and Vice General Managers of Watson & Band IP Agent Ltd., welcomed Mr. Tian and had a symposium with him.

At the meeting, Mr. Xu first introduced the developments of Watson & Band in recent years, and referred the key members of Watson & Band’s IP service team to Mr. Tian. Then Mr. Tian introduced some recent news in the IP area to the Watson & Band team; in particular, Mr. Tian talked about the potential influences that might be brought forth by the Sino-US trade war. The Watson & Band team further summarized the latest developments in the IP agency industry and displayed Watson & Band’s professionalism within the industry to Mr. Tian.

Finally, Mr. Tian and the Watson & Band team had communications and discussions regarding other hot issues in the IP area.
