Following the visit to the Gansu Provincial Intellectual Property Office, on September 4th, Watson & Band IP team went to visit the Lanzhou New District Scientific Innovation & Development Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter the “Scientific Innovation City” or the “Company”). Deputy General Manager of the Company, Mr. Xianghua Zhou, along with Director of the Company’s Incubation Department, warmly received the Watson & Band team.

At the meeting, the two parties signed the Operation and Management Service Agreement for the IP Service Sector of the Company. The Scientific Innovation City introduced their history and developments and the development program for the forthcoming years. Meanwhile, they also expressed their expectation for the future cooperation with Watson & Band.

Watson & Band then introduced its more than two decades’ history to the Scientific Innovation City, as well as its scope of services and development program for the next few years. The two parties also had in-depth discussions over the potential cooperation items.

In addition, Watson & Band visited the exhibition hall of the Scientific Innovation City and a number of key enterprises located therein. During the visits, Watson & Band exchanged ideas regarding the product research and development and the IP protection issues that concerned these enterprises.

On September 5th, Watson & Band team went to visit the Lanzhou Municipal Intellectual Property Office (hereinafter the “Lanzhou IPO”). Deputy Director of the Office, Mr. Youyi Wei, along with Directors of various departments including Comprehensive Management, Patent Matters, Publicity and Training, Law Enforcement and General Office, received the Watson & Band team.

The Lanzhou IPO first expressed their warm welcome towards Watson & Band and introduced the current situation of intellectual property in Lanzhou. Then Watson & Band introduced its more than two decades’ history to the Scientific Innovation City, as well as its scope of services and development program for the next few years.

The two parties had in-depth discussions over certain existing problems concerning the intellectual property in Lanzhou. Watson & Band expressed its hope to cooperate with the Lanzhou IPO and make its contribution to the intellectual property work in Lanzhou.
