On the afternoon of April 25, Shanghai Intellectual Property Services Association (the “SIPSA”) held its 2020 Annual Meeting and also the First Session for its Second General Meeting at Ramada Plaza, Shanghai Caohejing. Watson & Band’s Executive Managing Partner, Ms. Jean Yang, attended the event on behalf of the firm.

At the 2020 Annual Party, three awards were granted: the first “Leading Firms/Institutions in Intellectual Property Services Area in Shanghai”, the first “Outstanding Individuals in Intellectual Property Services Area in Shanghai” and the “Special Award for Talent Developments in Intellectual Property Services Area in Shanghai”.

Watson & Band, with its good reputation and outstanding performance within the intellectual property services area, was honored among the first “Leading Firms/Institutions in Intellectual Property Services Area in Shanghai” and received the award at the meeting.

Meanwhile, Vice General Manager of Watson & Band IP Agent Ltd., Mr. Yingcong Xu, Partners of Watson & Band, Mr. Jianguo Huang and Ms. Cathy Wu, were all honored among the first “Outstanding Individuals in Intellectual Property Services Area in Shanghai” for their more than a decade’s dedication to the intellectual property services area. For this great harvest, Watson & Band was also granted the “Special Award for Talent Developments in Intellectual Property Services Area in Shanghai”.

Following that, at the First Session of SIPSA’s Second General Meeting, the Board of Directors (the “BoD”) and the Board of Supervisors (the “BoS”) were formed through election. Further, the new President, Vice President, Chief Supervisor and Secretary General of the SIPSA were announced at the first session of the second BoD and BoS meeting. Watson & Band was honored to be SIPSA’s Vice President.
