On the afternoon of August 9, Watson & Band Partner, Dan Zhang, was invited to provide a training program on data security and compliance for employees of a fin-tech company. Ms. Zhang elaborated the topics through four aspects, namely, basic concepts of information and data, regulatory system, compliance requirements in routine business and legal liability; besides, Ms. Zhang also cited some typical cases and shared her thoughts on compliance issues that fin-tech companies usually encounter in their operations.

Through this training the employees further understood the compliance risks involving users’ personal information and matters that should be noted in the company’s routine operations, and thereby enhanced their awareness in carrying out standard operations and risk control.

Ms. Zhang has long been engaging in the areas of Internet finance, fin-tech, network and data security and corporate governance, etc. Based on her experience as a legal counsel of a large company, Ms. Zhang had a profound and unique understanding about the legal problems that companies might encounter in their business operations as well as the legal solutions thereto. She has also been dedicated to researches in relation to data security and provision of compliance services for fin-tech companies. Her training program on the data security and compliance issues involved in the fin-tech area this time helps to further improve the company’s compliance system and was well received among the trainees.
