On October 24th and 25th, Japan Intellectual Property Association (“JIPA”) F5 Research Group came to Shanghai for a two-day research project.
On the morning and afternoon of October 24th, F5 Research Group respectively visited the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office, where they met and communicated with the relevant persons.
On the afternoon of October 25th, the 16-person group paid a visit to Watson & Band’s Shanghai Head Office. Watson & Band’s Senior Founding Partner, Mr.Shenmin Xu, together with other core members of Watson & Band’s IP service team warmly received F5 Research Group and hosted a special workshop for it.
Session 1 of the workshop mainly discussed issues related to patent infringement lawsuits. Mr.Shenmin Xu, the lecturer, introduced evidence collection involved in patent infringement litigation and the corresponding litigation proceedings, and addressed concerns of the F5 group members.
