Ms. Gao serves as the Vice Director of Watson & Band Law Offices in Shanghai. She is a highly accomplished attorney with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, known for her expertise in corporate governance, M&A, complex contract negotiations, and dispute resolution.

Ms. Gao holds an LLB from Fudan University and an LLM in Commercial and E-commerce Law from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), specializing in company law and information technology protection. Her postgraduate studies in the UK were sponsored by the Shanghai Justice Bureau.

With a deep understanding of business operations, Ms. Gao specializes in corporate governance, M&A, BOT, FIDIC and FCPA compliance. Her practice encompasses legal risk control and prevention, contract review, due diligence, and legal advice for specific projects. 

Ms. Gao has successfully led negotiations for several large-scale BOT and FIDIC projects, each valued at over 50 million RMB. As a skilled lecturer, she frequently delivers presentations on corporate law, contract law, FCPA, and other legal topics to her clients. Her detailed and practical approach is highly regarded by both senior corporate managers and staff.

In civil and commercial litigation, particularly contract disputes, Ms. Gao handles 60-80 corporate or contractual cases annually.  Her acute sense of responsibility, meticulous nature and strong negotiation skills often result in mutually beneficial solutions that serve both economic and social interests.

Ms. Gao's academic treatises have been selected as guiding essays for seminars presented by the Civil Law Committee of the National Bar Association. They have also been featured in publications such as the Thesis Collection from the Civil Committee of the All-China Lawyers' Association and Practical Legal Opinions on Civil and Commercial Law.

Since December 2008, Ms. Gao has been a regular contributor to the Attorney's Answers column in the Shanghai Enterprise Confederation Magazine, further demonstrating her commitment to sharing legal knowledge and expertise with the business community.
